Please note, we have been sent the following amendment with regard to the calf handling rules at ABAB:
In the rules on page 9 can you change Rule 4 to read ‘ Entries will be accepted for Handlers 5 years of age and over on 1st January 2022. However, the Coloured breeds committee reserve the right for the stewards to ask any handlers who were under the age of 7 on 1st January not to enter the ring if they do not show good control of their calf, without assistance, in the collecting area. This decision has been taken to protect the health and safety of all exhibitors, whilst allowing younger experienced handlers to compete
