Emma and Allison National Show Stand

Stepping down after a decade of service

Members & Breeders News

After over a decade of service to the Jersey Cattle Society, Emma Horn is standing down from her role as Company Secretary.  Emma and her team at Jolly British Business Support Ltd have been at the heart of the effective and professional management of our Society.

During Emma’s time with us, she has worked studiously to support the board, manage the society finances, processes and services, and delivered projects including the design and development of the JCS website, online CRM membership platform and electronic newsletter.  Alongside her managerial work, Emma and her team provided the organisational and administration support for Membership, Herd Book, Registrations and Society events.  I am sure, as I speak on behalf of the board, Emma and her team will be missed by many.

With the support of Emma, the search is now on to find a new person or team to fulfill the important roles carried out by Jolly British, and to work closely with Becky Hurd (FSO) and Claire Cooksey (Animal Registrations).  I use this opportunity to ask members who may know or who can recommend a suitable candidate(s) to contact either myself, a fellow member of the Board or indeed Emma.
