The Gold Top Sale of 95 Pedigree Jerseys sold to a flying trade, the fresh milk sold exceptionally well topping at 2,300gns for Oliver Neagle of Winchester from his Hiltonbury herd who sold others to 2,300gns, 1,950gns & 1,900gns to average £1884 of his consignment of 11. Barry & Jenny Daw sold a consignment of 4 fresh Heifers from their Bluegrass Herd which topped at 2,000gns three times with Claire Daw selling a heifer from her Bluerock herd at 1,800gns.

Their consignment averaged £2076. A consignment of 32 Pedigree Jersey Autumn Calving In Calf Heifers from James & Louisa Edgar’s Brastead herd in Kent were undoubtedly the trade of the day seeing fierce competition with 12 over £2,000 topping at 2,300gns with others to 2,220gns x 3 & 2,150gns x3, this consignment averaged a whopping £1853!!

Jersey Youngstock saw a steady trade with a super consignment from the Rivermead herd of the Davis Family of Tiverton selling served heifers to 1,100gns twice with their best calf topping at 1,900gns for a January born calf by Addiction with other calves to 1000gns & 800gns x 4.

Richard Saxby & Family sold a consignment of 8 Heifer calves from their Saxown herd topping at 1,000gns for a Victorious daughter from their Cash Family. David Renfree & Family sold a consignment of 7 Heifer Calves from well bred families from their Hayvalley herd to a top at 1,000gns twice.
