How to become a Judge of the Jersey Breed

How to become a Judge of the Jersey Breed: In order to become a member of the Judges Panel, Society members can attend a Conference or Workshop as a guest.

By attending a minimum of two Conferences and one Workshop a member may, depending upon their ability, be appointed to the Full Panel and then be eligible to judge at all levels of show.

To achieve a position on the Full Panel a judge needs to demonstrate not only the ability to place animals but also the confidence to give sound reasons and to promote the breed to the assembled audience.

Dependent upon their performance at this event they can be appointed to the Probationer Panel which qualifies them to judge smaller local shows.
