The National Show

COVID19 NOTICE

In light of the fact the Royal Bath & West Show Society has decided that it will be impossible to have livestock at this year’s Dairy Show, the Jersey Cattle Society fully support them in this decision and sadly this means that there will be no JCS National Show in 2020.

We look forward to the National Show returning in 2021.

JCS Board of Directors
***NATIONAL SHOW ANNOUCEMENT***

“Regrettably we have taken the tough decision not to proceed with the Cattle and Showmanship Classes at the forthcoming Dairy Show on the 7th October.

We as a Society did not feel that within the “showing” environment we could not successfully manage social distancing and did not want it to distract from the serious, yet enjoyable aspect of judging. Safety of the exhibitors, stewards, judges, sponsors and visitors has to be the priority and this difficult decision was felt to be the responsible course of action.

We look forward to welcoming you and your cattle back to the Royal Bath & West Show 3rd – 5th June 2021 and the Dairy Show 6th October 2021.”
