The 2017 JCS Judges Conference took place in Lancashire on Thursday 4th May.
The Jersey Cattle Society was extremely grateful to the Pye Family for hosting the 2017 Judges Conference. The hospitality and facilities were second only to the superb display of cattle they provided for judging. Few shows would offer four classes of such high quality animals giving those taking part in the conference a rare judging experience.
There were many long-established judges and new faces contributing to the discussions and it was pleasing to see the level of agreement reached on the type of cow being looked for in the Show Ring.
